Businesses will use the Yellow Pages to promote themselves –do the same for your radio with an internet radio directory.

Many will list your stream for free. And the more directories you list your radio, the easier for listeners to find you.

You'll need your station's public stream URL to list your station on radio directories.

1. Streema

Streema lists over 70,000 radios and 10,000 television stations. Visitors find stations based on the genre or region.

Streema also ranks the most popular streams on their homepage. It has an app called Simple Radio available for Android and iOS.

2. StationZilla

The Stationzilla directory has over 64,000 radios. It's unique from other directories in that, it breakdowns and lists the most songs popular by genre on a daily basis.

3. Radionet

There are over 30,000 stations in the radio.net directory. What's more, the radio.net app is available on the App Store, Google Play, Windows Phone Store, and BlackBerry World.

4. Shoutcast

The SHOUTcast directory is classic. But it hasn't aged well and their popularity has been declining to say the least. They have now stopped providing "authhash" (version 2.5 and below) to register your radio station. If you don't already have one, you are out of luck, which might not be a bad thing after all...


5. Online Radio Box

Online Radio Box lists stations from around the world. It also caters to smartphone users with its Android and iOS app.

You need an account to add a new station or edit an existing station's data.

6. Radio Tower

RadioTower lists stations that air for 24 hours every day. Listeners tune-in to your stream using Real Player or Windows Media Player.

The links you provide must be of these types (wax, asx, m3u, pls, ram, rm, and ra).

7. Radio Line

Radioline has over 60,000 listed stations. You get your own page, where you can upload an electronic program guide and more.

Their online player has social media buttons allowing listeners to share your stream instantly. There is a Radioline app for Android and iOS.

8. myRadioTuner

It's an exclusive directory, which offers listeners a novel way of discovering radio stations using its random picker. You click on a genre name and get a random station. It also has an android and iOS app.

9. TuneIn

TuneIn lists over 120,000 radio stations from 194 countries. Over 60 million people use TuneIn to access radio stations, news, sports, music, shows, and podcasts.

It also offers premium content to customers like live NBA games.

While TuneIn is no longer open for registration, you can still contact them.

10. Streamitter

Streamitter lists radios from all countries. Listeners find streams by genre or region.

They can create a list of their favourite stations by opening user accounts.

11. Dirble

Dirble is no longer operational.


12. Filter Music

Filter Music lists radios with streams of 128 Kbps or more. Stations are curated especially for electronic & dance music.

They also accept other genres like hip-hop and reggae. But they don’t accept radios with lengthy-discussions or too many adds. Filter music has an android and iOS app.

13. Live Radio.ie

It’s an Irish radio directory. On the LiveRadio.ie homepage, you’ll find a list of Irish internet stations.

They also have 2600 stations from 110 countries, categorized by genres and regions. Users on LiveRadio.ie can tune-in using their media player or an online player.

15. nRadio

nRadio is a radio app for iPad, iPod, and iPhone. But you can also listen on your web browser. It has about 24,500 radio stations from 100 countries. But its development is currently on hold.

16. Radio Directory

Radio-Directory requires a small fee (currently $10) before listing your station. Users can create accounts to comment or add stations to their favourite list.

17. Log FM

Created by two Russian radio amateurs, LogFm has grown tremendously with about 45,000 radio stations in its directory.

Listeners can find you by browsing the genre or region categories, or by searching for your name. If their submission page is not working, you can send an email with details at info@logfm.com.

18. Live Online Radio

Live Online Radio lists stations based on their regions. Their blog is active, and it features entries by individual radios.

19. Stream the net

Since 2009, STN has helped people find quality radio and television streams. You find stations by region or genre.

Visitors can also rate radios. By creating an account, they can build a list of their favorite streams.

20. vTuner

vTuner enables manufacturers, brands, and service providers to integrate internet radio support to their products such as smart Tvs, mobiles, tablets, automobiles and game consoles.

21. Radio Garden

Radio Garden places stations on a globe with green dots marking towns & cities. Clicking on any dot gives you a list of available streams.

You find new stations by rotating the globe. There is an iOS and android Radio Garden app. Both are highly rated.

22. Internet Radio

The Internet Radio directory has about 35,000 internet radio stations. Listeners can tune in using a media player, or through a popup player.

Alongside each radio player, the directory displays a link to your website, genres, current listeners, and bitrate.

23. Trinidad

The directory lists radio stations from Trinidad and Tobago on their homepage. In addition to Trinidadian stations, you’ll find radios from other countries.

24. Radio Guide FM

Radioguide.FM categorizes stations by genres and regions. You can create a profile for your station.

Here, visitors can rate your stream or leave comments using a Facebook plugin. For a fee, RadioGuide.FM can promote your station on their homepage.

25. La Radio FM

Headquartered in Kazakhstan, the directory has more than 3,000 radio stations. LaRadioFM also has an android app.

26. Radio Forest

Radio Forest categorizes radio stations according to the genres. It’s free to use and submit.

Radio Forest users can either use their online player or media programs to listen to your stream.

27. Music Goal

Music Goal was a directory that listed webcams, podcasts, and radios. They had about 11,000 stations on the platform. But it is no longer operational.


28. Stream Finder

Stream Finder has more than 31,000 radio stations. They provide a free and upgraded listing, where you pay for promotional features (current plan $10/month).

You can add links to your radio mobile app and social media pages on your Stream Finder’s profile.

29. Deezer

Deezer is a streaming service, which lets users listen to music at a monthly fee. However, it’s possible to add your radio station.

Screamer Radio is a directory with thousands of stations. Note that, listeners can only tune in using the Screamer Radio desktop program.

iTunes draws millions of unique listeners each month, and it's one the best places to list your radio station.

32. Icecast

If you're using the Icecast technology, getting listed on the Icecast directory is automatic. If we are your host, ensure that the 'List on Icecast directory,' under 'Settings >Server' is toggled.
