This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit cloudrad.io or use our Services.

1) What we collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account info: name, email, username, password (stored in hashed form), and account settings.
  • Service info: station/radio configuration, service settings, and content/metadata you choose to upload or store with us.
  • Support communications: emails and messages you send to our support team.

1.2 Billing and payment info

Payments are processed by third parties (see Subprocessors). We may receive limited billing information such as:

  • billing name and contact details,
  • payment status,
  • transaction metadata (e.g., processor transaction IDs),
  • account credits / prepaid balance status.

We do not store full credit card numbers.

1.3 Information collected automatically

Technical and usage data: logins, timestamps, IP address, device/browser details, console actions, service provisioning events, and diagnostic logs. We use this for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

2) How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Services (including provisioning, authentication, and hosting delivery);
  • process billing, payments, and account credits;
  • provide customer support and send service/transactional communications (invoices, reminders, security notices);
  • secure our platform and prevent abuse/fraud;
  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
  • improve and develop the Services.

3) Sharing and disclosure

We share information only as needed:

  • with subprocessors who help us provide hosting, email delivery, and payment processing;
  • to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security;
  • as part of a business transaction (e.g., merger/acquisition), subject to appropriate safeguards.

5) Cross-border processing (outside Québec)

Some personal information may be stored or processed outside Québec, including in France, and may also be processed in the United States (for example, payment and email providers). We take steps to implement reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the purpose of processing.

6) Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

  • provide the Services,
  • meet legal/accounting requirements (including billing records),
  • resolve disputes and enforce agreements,
  • maintain security logs for a reasonable period.

When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize information where feasible.

7) Security and confidentiality incidents

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

If a confidentiality incident involving personal information presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.

8) Cookies and analytics

We use:

  • Essential cookies for login/session security and core site functionality.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. We use self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics on our website that does not use cookies. If our analytics setup changes, we will update this Policy accordingly.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may impact your ability to log in or use certain features.

9) Marketing emails

If we send marketing emails, we will include an unsubscribe link and comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including CASL (Canada).

10) Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request:

  • access to your personal information,
  • correction of inaccurate information,
  • deletion (subject to legal/contractual limits),
  • withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

11) Children

Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the latest version at cloudrad.io/privacy. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Policy.
