Cancel a Service
To stop billing for a service, you must destroy it. CloudRadio does not have a pause or deactivate option. Destroying a service permanently removes it and stops all future charges.
Destroy a Radio
- Go to your radio’s dashboard
- Click Destroy in the side menu
- Type the radio name to confirm
- Click Destroy
This action:
- Stops the streaming server and disconnects all listeners
- Removes the stream URL permanently
- Ends the subscription and stops future billing
- Deletes all configuration, mount points, and settings
Warning: Destroying a radio is permanent and cannot be undone. All statistics, configuration, and data are lost.
Cancel an AutoDJ Addon
Destroying the radio that an AutoDJ Addon is attached to also cancels the addon. There is no separate cancellation step.
For CloudRadio One plans, destroying the station cancels the entire plan.
Outstanding Charges
Charges that have already accrued remain due after cancellation. Destroying a service stops future charges but does not erase usage from the current billing period. Your final invoice is generated on the 1st of the following month.
Close Your Account
Account deletion is handled by our support team. To request account closure:
- Destroy all active services: radios, AutoDJ instances, and stations must be terminated before your account can be closed
- Pay any outstanding balance: your account balance must be settled to $0
- Contact support via our contact form from your account email and request account deletion
What Happens When Your Account Is Closed
- All login sessions are revoked immediately
- Saved payment methods are removed from Stripe
- Your email address is released and can be used to create a new account
- Financial records are retained (invoices and payment history) for accounting and tax compliance
- If no financial history exists (trial-only accounts), the account is permanently deleted with no retained records
Note: Account deletion cannot be reversed. If you plan to use CloudRadio again in the future, consider keeping your account open with no active services instead. There is no charge for an idle account.
