CloudRadio offers two ways to get your station online: CloudRadio One for an all-in-one station, or Shoutcast/Icecast hosting for a traditional streaming server.
CloudRadio One
CloudRadio One is a standalone station with everything built in.
- Built-in AutoDJ with media library, playlists, and scheduling
- HLS streaming with adaptive bitrate (64, 128, and 256 kbps)
- Unlimited concurrent listeners on HLS
- Legacy Icecast endpoint (128 kbps MP3) for older players and directories
- Live DJ input for broadcasting over your scheduled programming
CloudRadio One is best if you want a ready-to-go station without managing a separate streaming server.
Price: $39/month. See plans.
Shoutcast/Icecast hosting
Shoutcast/Icecast hosting gives you a managed streaming server on CloudRadio infrastructure.
- Choose Icecast (recommended) or Shoutcast v2
- Pick a datacenter region closest to your audience
- Scale from 10 to 1,000 listener slots
- Full stream management with mount points and passwords
- Optional AutoDJ Addon ($8/month) adds media library, playlists, and scheduling
This option is best if you already use broadcasting software and want a reliable streaming server with monitoring, players, and statistics.
Price: Varies by listener slots. See plans.
Before you begin
You need a CloudRadio account. Create one here if you haven’t already.
Before creating a station or radio, have the following ready:
- A billing address. You can add it during the creation process if needed.
- A payment method (credit card via Stripe, or PayPal). You can also add this inline.
The creation page will prompt you to complete these if they’re missing. You don’t need to set them up separately first.
