When you create a hosted radio or an AutoDJ station, CloudRadio sets up monitoring automatically. No manual configuration needed.
What Gets Monitored
| Service | What’s Monitored |
|---|---|
| Hosted Radio | Primary mount point and any additional mount points |
| AutoDJ / CloudRadio One | HLS output endpoint (when HLS is enabled) |
Monitors are created within seconds of service creation and start checking immediately.
Accessing Monitoring
From the main navigation: Go to Monitoring to see all your monitored streams in one place.
From the radio dashboard: Click Monitoring in the radio sidebar to see monitors scoped to that specific radio.
From the station dashboard: Click Monitoring in the station sidebar to see the monitor for that AutoDJ config.
Alerts Are Off by Default
Auto-created monitors start with alerts disabled. To receive notifications when your stream goes down:
- Navigate to the monitor detail page
- Toggle Notify account holder on
- Optionally add additional email recipients
See Alert Notifications for full setup details.
Automatic Cleanup
When you destroy a radio or delete an AutoDJ config, the associated monitors are removed automatically. You don’t need to clean them up manually.
While a service is active, its auto-created monitor cannot be deleted. You can still configure alerts and notification settings on it.
