All CloudRadio services are billed in USD, by the hour, based on actual usage:
- Hourly charges accumulate until they reach the plan's monthly cap
- Once the cap is reached, you pay no more for that service that month
- Billing is done in arrears: you pay at the end of the month for the services you used
CloudRadio One
CloudRadio One is a fully managed radio plan at $39/month that includes AutoDJ, storage, and streaming in one package. It is the recommended plan for new stations.

Partial Month Billing
Every CloudRadio service is billed by the hour, never by the day. You only pay for the hours your service actually exists, down to the second, and the monthly cap is the most you can pay in any one month.
CloudRadio One example: You create a CloudRadio One station on January 10th at midnight:
- January 10-31 = 528 hours x $0.0585/hr = $30.89
- The following month, you run the full month and reach the $39 cap
Radio Hosting example: You create a 100-slot radio on January 15th at noon and destroy it on January 20th at noon:
- You're billed for exactly 120 hours (5 days x 24 hours)
- Cost: 120 hours x $0.03/hr = $3.60
Radio Hosting example: You create a 100-slot radio on January 15th at midnight and keep it through the end of the month:
- January 15-31 = 408 hours x $0.03/hr = $12.24
- You pay $12.24 (not the full $20 monthly cap, since you didn't have the radio for the full month)
AutoDJ Addon example: You add the AutoDJ Addon on January 10th at midnight:
- January 10-31 = 528 hours x $0.012/hr = $6.34
Why the Monthly Cap Exists
The hourly rates are set so that a service running non-stop reaches its monthly cap after 666.67 hours (about 27.8 days). Every hour beyond that in the same month is free, which is why a 31-day month costs the same as a 28-day one.
Radio Hosting
Radio Hosting is our slot-based plan, for stations that want to pick their own listener capacity and pay only for the slots they need.
You can customize your plan from 10 to 1,000 simultaneous listeners (slots) per radio. Your capacity is reserved exclusively for your radio. When the limit is reached, new listeners cannot connect until a slot becomes available.
Each slot is billed at $0.0003/hour up to a monthly cap of $0.20/slot.

AutoDJ Addon
The AutoDJ Addon adds automated music playback to an existing Radio Hosting plan for $8/month. CloudRadio One already includes AutoDJ, so this addon is not needed there.
