Every CloudRadio One station gets a station page: a public page where anyone can play your station in their browser, with no website of your own needed. Share its link on social media, in messages, or as a QR code on a poster.
The station page is part of CloudRadio One and Custom plans. Shoutcast and Icecast hosting radios and the AutoDJ Addon don't have one; use a web player instead.
Find your station page
Go to Station page in the left sidebar of your station, under Distribution.
The station Owner and Station managers can edit the station page. Music controllers, DJs and Guest DJs don't see it. See Users and Roles.
Your page address
The Share and install card shows your page link, with a copy button and a button to open it in a new window. The link looks like this:
https://embed.clrd.net/listen/1a2b3c4d
The last part is an 8-character code that belongs to your station. It is the same code your stream addresses use. It never changes, even when you rename your station, so links and printed QR codes keep working.
The page is online only while your station is turned on and streaming. When the station is off, the link sends visitors to the CloudRadio website.
Edit your page
The left side of the editor holds the settings. The right side shows a live preview of the page in a phone frame.
Page color
The Page color sets the accent color of the page: the glow behind the cover, the play button and the volume slider. Text and icons on top of it adapt so they stay readable.
Until you choose a page color, the page uses the Brand color from Profile & Branding > Look & feel, and follows it when you change it there. Once you pick a page color here and publish, the page keeps that color.
Appearance
Choose Dark or Light for the page background. Dark is the default.
Hide CloudRadio badge
Check Hide CloudRadio badge to remove the small CloudRadio badge from the page footer. This is free.
Social links
Add links to your website, Facebook, X and Instagram. Each link must be a full address starting with https:// or http://. Only the links you fill in show on the page, as icons.
Publish your changes
Your changes show in the preview right away, but listeners keep seeing the last published version. Click Publish changes to make them live. When everything is published, the button says Published.
The preview shows the phone layout. On a tablet or computer, the page becomes a full station website, with the player on one side and the songs on the other. Click Preview the website to see it in a new tab.
Share your page
QR code
The Share and install card has a QR code that opens your station page. Click Download QR code for a PNG with a white code on a dark tile.
Open More formats for:
- White code (for dark backgrounds), as PNG or SVG.
- Dark code (for light backgrounds), as PNG or SVG.
- Embed on your website: HTML you can copy and paste to show the QR code on your site, linked to your page.
Keep a clear margin around the code and enough contrast with the background so phones can scan it.
Link previews
When you share the link, the preview shows your station name, your tagline as the description, and your default cover art as the image.
What listeners see
- Your station name, with your logo beside it. The logo comes from Profile & Branding > Look & feel. Without a logo, the first letter of the name shows instead.
- The player: a play button and a volume control. The page never starts playing on its own; the listener taps play.
- Cover art for the song playing now. When a song has no cover, the default cover from Look & feel shows instead.
- On air now: the title and artist of the current song.
- Recently played: the last 12 songs, with their cover and the time they played in the listener's time zone. A scheduled show with a display name shows as one row with that name. Before anything has played, the list says "Recently played tracks will appear here."
- Your social links as icons, and the CloudRadio badge at the bottom unless you hid it.
The page uses the font you chose in Look & feel.
Add it to a phone home screen
Listeners (and you) can put the page on a phone home screen:
- Open the link on the phone.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
The phone saves it as a browser shortcut, not as an app. Tapping the icon opens the page in the browser.
What the station page does not do
- Search engines: the page asks search engines not to list it. Share the link yourself, and list your station in directories so people can find it.
- App install: the page can't be installed as an app; it is added as a browser shortcut.
- Donations: there is no donate or support button.
- Custom domain: the page lives at the
embed.clrd.netaddress. You can't use your own domain for it. - Email signup: there is no way for listeners to join a mailing list from the page.
To put your station on your own website, embed a web player instead.
