A subscription can play your own audio around the content it downloads: an intro before it, an outro after it, and a music bed underneath. CloudRadio adds them to every new version automatically, so each bulletin goes out with your station's sound.
Add an intro, outro or bed
- Go to Media Library > Syndication and open the subscription (or click Subscribe for a new one).
- Under Around the content (optional), click Choose next to Intro, Outro or Background bed.
- Pick a track from your library. Search by name or filter by tag, and press play to listen before you pick.
- For a bed, set Bed level (%): how loud the bed plays under the content. The default is 30.
- Click Save.
The chooser for Background bed lists tracks at least 30 seconds long.
Saving a change remakes the current version with the new intro, outro or bed, so you don't have to wait for the next version. The subscription shows Preparing while it is being remade.
How the parts are joined
- The intro plays first, then the content with the bed under it, then the outro.
- The bed loops if it is shorter than the content, and stops when the content ends.
- The parts are joined back to back, with no crossfade.
The play button on a subscription plays exactly what goes on air, intro, outro and bed included.
